A Bit About Me
Hello and welcome!
I am a Nurse Practitioner offering primary care services at Caya. I graduated from UBC and have been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner since 2022 in Vancouver, and prior to that as a Registered Nurse for 14 years.
The majority of my practice has been working with marginalized populations, and in recent years I have become increasingly interested and passionate about women’s health and gender-affirming care. As a queer person myself, I recognize the unique challenges and healthcare needs faced by women and individuals within the LGBTQ+ community, and I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where patients feel understood and respected.
I strongly believe in shared decision making and collaborative approaches to achieving people’s health goals. I am a lifelong Vancouverite and enjoy many of the requisite activities that come with that including cycling and camping. I sing in a choir and love to spend time with my friends, family and very particular dog.
